At a very young age, I was exposed to reading, and I was inspired. After college I made my way into the workforce, and life found a way to pull me from written creativity. Despite days turning into years, I never let go of my early passion.
It wasn’t a single day or occurrence that caused a change in me. As a person that has always strived to improve myself, I found a point in life that I was no longer burdened by study…so I picked up the pen. The stories flooded out of me. It felt natural. Then the world came to a halt as quarantine set in across the globe. With everything in neutral, writing flourished. That is when I completed Perrywinkle, my first novel. The fire was alit again!
I am a huge fan of modern novels but have a soft spot for classics. My all-time favorite read is Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley. If you like that, check out The Last Man, another Shelley work. I still feel strange I finished that story during in 2021.
